Growing up in a different religion was constantly being told about the punishments and penalties I would have to endure for everything that wasn't right according to someone else's belief. In my mind I always thought a God has to be a loving God.

 

When I first came to Christ all I found was Love.

 

"In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another."

                                                   1 John 4:10–11

 

Christ is all about love, the Word teaches us how to love one another, how we need to forgive and pray for each other. This is the love I was searching for and I found it in Jesus, my Lord and Saviour.
